My details do not appear in the Breeders Directory?
To add details of the Breeds kept you need to use the check box via the [My Breed Club Account] page from the Breed Directory Menu. By Clicking the check box so that a tick appears against the breed after updating your details your name will be listed as a Breeder against each breed selected.
It is important that you maintain this information. As a Breeder all registered users of this site will be able to Email you for information and availablity.
If you no longer supply the breed or do not wish to be contacted please follow the same procedure in [My Breed Club Account] to uncheck the boxes against those breeds no longer supplied.
I have selected the Breeds I supply but my Name, Email and Location does not show in the Breeders Directory?
For Security reasons and to make contact with the potential customer a little more personal, we need you to Add Personal Information via [My Breed Club Account] Click on the Link Change Personal Information
In the Name Field
>>Add your Real Name or Name by which you would like to be contacted.
In the _LABELPHONE Field
>>Add your Telephone Number if you are happy for telephone contact if not leave blank
In the Fake Email Address Field
>>Provide the User with a contact Email Address, this can be the same or different to your Account Login Email Address show above.
In the Your Location Field
>>Add your Location in the format of TOWN, COUNTY. COUNTRY i.e. Ours is Andover, Hampshire. UK
In these fields are not completed your entry will show i the Breeders Directory but your details will be blank
How Do I create a New Section?
Select Add My Breed Page under the heading you will find a link called Create New Parent Directory click here! and Add New Section will show.
To Create a brand new Section Select Main in Select Parent Directory then in the Section Title Type the Name of your NEW Section For instance lets say you wanted to start a New Directory for "Rabbits" type Rabbits in the Section Title.
An Image can be added at this point however if you are not sure how to do this leave the image blank and we will update this later.
After you have completed the new section click the Submit Button
Congratulations, you have now created your New Section.
If you need to Create a section within an existing section (a sub-section) for example "Poultry" then select Poultry from the Drop Down Select Parent Directory Menu so that Poultry is displayed then follow the same procedure as above.
How Do I Set up a Breed Page?
Firstly be sure that your section currently exists if not following the instructions for creating sections first. Assuming that you are now ready to complete your breed page lets start:
Using the dropdown list (Select Parent Directory) select the section you want to add your breed page into.
Next Create your Breed Page Title, enter the name of your breed here.
The next field allow for a Breed Club URL to be entered if a specific club exists enter it as www.breedclub.xx.xx alternatively you may which to refer to a generic club such as the www.domesticwaterfowl.co.uk
The Breed Page Logo create the image on the directory if you are not confident enough to create this image leave it blank and we will create the image from any pictures added to the Breed Page using the Browse button you will be able to select any image from your hard-drive.
Next the Breed Page Image can be uploaded, simply select your best photo's using the Browse button you will be able to select any image from your hard-drive alternatively an image link can be provided to another web site picture.
If you want to tell the user specific information about the breed club enter your comments in the Breed Club Optional Info Field.
Almost there, now provide as much information about the breed as possible to help others gain a better understanding of the breed qualities, available colours, numbers of eggs expected annually etc. A good source of information is the Breed Standards Book such as Poultry Standards
Finally Submit Your Page
If you are familiar with HTML this can be used within your write up to provide impact but please make sure to close all tags used.
Can I make a Comment about the Breed ?
To make a seperate comment without affecting or confusing the information on the breed page itself, open the breed you want to comment on, at the bottom of the page is an option to enter a comment Create My Comment.
Alternatively in My Breed Club Account near the bottom of the page the breed can be selected from the dropdown list and your comment can be entered in the box below.

How Can I create a New Event?
To Create a New Event Click on the Calendar or use the link from the Menu.
Select Add
Enter the Event Title
Enter the Event Date be careful we don't want to lead poeple astray
Click on either All Day Event or Timed Event If Timed Event
Enter the Start Time and Duration
Enter the Event Description Describe the event as best as you can.
In SHARING Please select Global this will ensure that all visitor can see the event. You may also add private information as well if you wish for your own information select Private for these events.
Event Location Enter the Town and County of the Event
If you Know the Contact, Phone Number, Email and Event Web Site and finally any Event Fees enter these also to help our users as much as possible.
If the show occurs annually you may add repeat information so that it shows every year on the Calendar.
Finally Select Plain Text or HTML depending on whether you have used any HTML tags as part of your description the default is Plain Text
Now you can either Preview Your Event or Submit the Event to the Calendar.
When you go into the breeders directory and click on the persons name it comes up with info,hatching eggs e.t.c. how do you fill this section in?

To Add or edit the information click on the My Breed Club Account Link you will be presented with a list of all the breedpages When you select your breed using the checkbox the option to add further information is provided.

I am a new member to your site and must say that I have found it very informative - thanks but could you tell me if there is a way of searching on the breeders geographically rather than by bred as we are looking for chickens available in our area and have a varied shortlist so the location of the breeder is as significant to us as the actual breeds.

However if you post in the forums under wanted and put your area, I am sure there will be people out there with birds who will let you know what they have
I can't work it out!
I want to add my name to the Pure Breeds list for Rhode Island Red, Sussex, Maran, but I have tried and deleted many times and decided to ask for help instead!
eg the Sussex exists, how to I add my name as a breeder?
You need to go in through the My Breed Club Account Link and tick all the breeds mentioned above.
After updating the first time a more information link is displayed against each breed you selected, in her you can add details of colours and whether you have hatching eggs available.

We don't really know. Was there an error message? If you can try again and if it still doesn't work then send the picture over to us and we will have a go for you.

why is your clock wrong by several hours?

I am responding at 9.34 and that is what the clock at the top of the home page screen says. Are you referring to this clock or another one?
