We have recently aquired two beautiful lady pilgrim geese. A grey one whom we have called Nina and also a white female called Freya. Apparently, white female Pilgrims are a little unusual. We just have the two and also two chickens as family pets. My comment is just to tell anybody looking for Pilgrim geese that the breeder on this site is absolutely excellent. He is Colin Murton. We collected our ladies from his place and he keeps some really beautiful birds. They live in wonderful surroundings and are obviously very happy & healthy geese (also chooks). It is a joy to see a breeder who takes such good care of his flock. He and his family obviously do this for love - not just money. Colin is a very friendly chap and will advise you well before you buy a bird, to see if it is right for you. So if you decide you want to keep geese, you can always call him with any questions you have. Anyway, enough of my rambling! Just want to say thanks Colin! Goose keeping is real fun!!
